The Golden Visa is a program that offers a residence permit in Greece to third country citizens through investment in real estate or other activities, such as the purchase of real estate worth more than 250,000 euros. The licence is renewable for five years and allows for residence for the investor and his family.
The documents for the Golden Visa include the residence application, passport with at least 3 months validity, copy of the title deed of property in Greece or lease agreement, proof of payment of the investment, birth certificate and marital status for family members, medical insurance for Greece and passport type photos. Requirements may vary depending on the type of investment.
Applying for a Golden Visa by proxy requires the applicant to authorize the proxy to submit the necessary documents on their behalf. The proxy must present his/her personal data and power of attorney, and the application is submitted to the competent office with all the required documents of the applicant.
