Submission of Application for Residence Permit through Proxy (Article 155, Law 4764/2020)
According to Article 155 of Law 4764/23-12-2020, third country citizens (outside the EU) who meet the requirements for inclusion in the Golden Visa program have the opportunity to apply for a residence permit by proxy, without the requirement of prior entry into Greece.
Drafting of the Plenipotentiary
The power of attorney document is drawn up before a Greek Consular authority.
Period of entry into the country
The applicant has 12 months from the date of the certificate of filing of the application to enter Greece.
Submission of biometric data
Upon entry into the country, the applicant must present himself/herself to the competent authority for the submission of the required biometric data (such as fingerprints and photograph).
